Weekend DIY Lighting Tips: Tin Can Lanterns

Simple and very quick to do! All you need are:

1.) Old tin(s)

2.) A nail (or something similar to punch holes in the tin – and a hammer of course)

3.) Tea Lights (real or fake)

First things first, remove the lid on the tin – we do need a way to get our tea lights in. 🙂 The next part is probably the best – essentially, depending on your skills and/or artistic flair, you punch out holes on a tin to a pattern that you like. Easy patterns are a Star, Heart shape, Square… etc – you get my drift. Finally, you pop the tea lights in and voila – you have a Tin Can Lantern!
